The Brief | To capture all the emotion, struggle, elation, atmosphere of the race. The client wanted the images to tell the whole story; from the start of the day, the warm up, mid points, finish line and runners village, ensuring the runners and the supporters were included in this tale of strength and endurance.
It rained and poured and was an exciting shoot fighting the elements and navigating the route on a bike (I loved it! and the tea and biscuits afterwards!)
The style was in keeping with a new more modern, cleaner, darker, high contrast look they wanted.
