Curious Rose is Laura Sawle; an artist who captures people in their unique and authentic glory.
Laura currently resides not far from the Malvern hills, in a ludiciously pink house with her husband Jim and their beautiful blended family of three children. She has always had a deep curiosity for art and the role it can play in supporting people and helping people within their lives.
Her meandering life so far has led her many places all over the world, doing many different jobs, but since becoming a wife and mother it has revived her sense that all of this life needs to be captured. It has honed her artistic eye to notice the ordinary and extraordinary within daily life.
Her deep interest in people and connection is what sparked her career - it stems from a curiosity of psychology, of relationships, of love and marriage and children.

Timeline
1987 - Laura suspects she was an artist some time around birth
1992 - Laura develops her use of painting, sewing and photography to process the world around her.
1996 - Laura wins an award for blowing especially great bubbles when failing to swim 10m unassisted.
2005 - 2008 - Laura studies Art at Leeds University.
2008 - 2013 - Laura takes roles for well-known fashion brands, serves in a range of top notch hospitality establishments, travelling as far as Canada, London, Australia with a couple of pit stops back home in rural Worcestershire. Generally trying to work out what the hell it is she’s supposed to do with these skills.
2013 - Laura called what she was exploring Curious Rose an ever evolving exploration of how she wants to use her artistic skill and knowledge to support the people that choose to work with her.
